I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying the new laptop that my darling husband gave me for Christmas. He tells me that he read several ultrabook reviews before deciding on this one, and I’m glad that he did! Not that I didn’t like my previous netbook, but it is so, so nice to have a full-sized screen for reading and editing photos (not that I’ve been doing much of that lately – Note To Self: stop being so fed up with photography after doing the whole yearbook, and take more photos for my own amusement).

I’m also enjoying the e-reader he gave me; oddly enough we each gave the other the exact same e-reader. Well, mine is white and his is black, but that’s the only difference. I’m currently reading one of the free books that came with it, called “Pamela, or Virtue Rewarded”. So far there’s been a bunch of some creepy dude hiding in closets and trying to do smooches with Pamela, but she doesn’t want to because of her virtue. And the guy is her master (she’s a maid) and she keeps not quitting her job. You can tell that this book was written in the 1700s.

To sum up, I am very glad that this Christmas was a heavily electronic one. And if your boss hides in your closet and tries smooching you, you should smack him/her, not keep living in the same house.
