HELLO

I am having the Sunday Night Anxieties! Even though I have nothing to be anxious about… I just feel anxious.

Rob and I saw the movie Chronicle this afternoon and it was really very good.

I made these yesterday and I have to admit: not the biggest fan. TOO SWEET (I didn’t ever think THAT would happen). I mean, it hasn’t stopped me from eating some, but they’re just… a lot. I don’t know.

My latest before-bed Netflix On My iTouch Obsession has been Degrassi. I. Love. It. I can’t help it. But they sure had to jump through some hoops to keep all those kids together throughout the five years (of Degrassi Jr. High and Degrassi High). Case in point: End of Season 2: “Oh the high schools are overcrowded so you can’t go there for grade 9 this year you have to stay at Degrassi” *everyone stays together*. End of Season 3: *FIRE IN DJH* “Hey, suddenly the high schools aren’t overcrowded anymore so you can ALL go to high school! Yes, even you seventh graders!” Then somehow in the two years between the end of Degrassi High and the Degrassi movie where they all graduate, everyone who was a year behind everyone else took some kind of summer school night classes or something so that they could all graduate at the same time.

I’m not complaining though!

Yesterday Rob and I decided to buy tickets for the Bryan Adams concert that is going to be taking place here in April. First we tried to get our tickets online but the website kept glitching. So we actually had to put our pants on (as opposed to pyjamas) and go to the ticket office. And it was cold outside! As we were leaving the box office and walking back out to the car, I was hit with a gust of frigid wind, and a face-full of blowing snow. “DAMNIT BRYAN ADAMS LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE” I cried. So now Bryan Adams is Old Man Winter ’round these parts I guess.

Sprocket has done something to his dew claw on his front right foot. It is sticking out as though he’s giving us a thumbs-up. It can’t be comfortable for him… but the earliest the vet could take him was Monday morning. So he’s spent the weekend licking at his gross toe and we’ve been trying to keep him from doing that with various socks and bandages which he just licks and chews off like a little demented sock-hater.

I got a new wig! For the first time since I started wearing wigs (holy cow, like nearly 10 years?) it is a curly style. And I feel like it’s the most natural-looking one I’ve had, because when I had hair, it was curly. So I’m happy with that. Also happy with: the price, because most of my wigs are in the $160 range when you add in shipping. This one was only $80 with shipping.

AAAAND that is that for that. I have to get back to my Degrassi-watching. This is the one where Kathleen has anorexia.
