Twinsies!

Twinsies!

What do you do when you have a copycat?

I know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but it can also get a little annoying.

One of my friends, who we hang around with fairly often and is really a great friend, has started cooooooopying us! And in case you’re wondering, it’s not the one who I’ve spoken of before, who is constantly searching the Internet for apidexin reviews and other ways to Lose Weight Fast.

Anyway. This friend. She thinks that Rob and I are the coolest people (Lord only knows why) and I’ve started noticing her using expressions that we use. Not regular expressions like “hello” or … wait, that was lame. Is “hello” even an expression? It’s a word. JEEZ, Louise! Anyway. I don’t mind that she uses them, but she OVER uses them. For example. I might say to Rob “I’m going to go have some sofa times.” It sounds weird, but it’s just a way that we talk to each other. And she has heard us talking like that. So the other night, we are having an MSN chat, and through the course of the 20 – minute conversation, the following was typed by her:
“I had work times today.”
“I think that tomorrow I’m going to have some shopping times.”
“(Husband) is having car washing times.”
“I need shower times.”
The other thing is – like, remember that $9 dress I posted about yesterday? She was all asking me where I got it and how much it cost, because she needed it. So I told her. And she has already purchased clothes that she’s seen me wearing. I fully understand that people are going to buy clothes, but then she shows up wearing the same outfit as me sometimes and I feel silly.

BUT! She has a heart of gold, is really fun to hang around with, and I can overlook that stuff. I mean, I’m sure she has annoyance times with me too.
