UUUUUUUGH

So I am taking Clomid. Clomid helps me to ovulate. That’s a good thing. Another thing that Clomid does, which I don’t enjoy as much as I enjoy the ovulation? Is give me motherfucking hot flashes. They happen all night long. I’m sweaty and gross and it’s January and this should not be happening to me for at least another 8 years.

Rob is a normal human being so he doesn’t like it when I turn the heat off and open all the windows. That being said, he is very cute when his teeth chatter.

MY NECK IS SWEATY.

I JUST HAD TO SHARE.

Jesus, pharmaceuticals. Can’t we all just get along?

I figure, too bad for Rob. It’s way easier to deal with it being cool than hot because you can add layers. Plus, this is all so that you can carry around a baby, so you both have to make sacrifices. For you it’s the inherent loss of comfort, for him it will be that he needs to put on a sweater.

You’re absolutely right – and 99.99999% of the time that’s how it is. He even brings me cold packs and stuff. I think last night was an exception because I turned the furnace completely off, opened all the windows, and ice had literally formed in our kitchen. So he *horror of horrors* closed the kitchen window.

A friend’s husband complains to me about this all the time because his wife will open a window, in the middle of the night and go to sleep just fine but, by morning, he’s turning blue and can’t figure out where the draft is coming from. :)
