up, chuck!

So, this medication that I’m taking has the delicious side effect of total nausea and a bit of dizziness. I’ve been laying around on the sofa all day, kind of feeling a bit seasick.
This might help on the weight-loss journey, except for one little thing.
When I’m nauseous my body is like “Put food in me in case you barf! That way it won’t hurt!”. So Rob has been so kind as to bring me a nice bowl of rotini.
Multigrain rotini, but still.

  1. Having been recently very intimately involved with my puke reflexes, another thing that helps me is chew tums. That way it’s less acidy if you do throw up.

    Also, for me, it hurts way less and is way less gross if my stomach is empty – it’s worth trying. So, I drink water, and it means none of the gross ‘stuff getting caught in your nose’ and clean up and stuff.

  2. I’m with mainja – it hurts exponentially less if there is nothing in my stomach but water. So, when I feel like I’m gonna hurl, I drink water or ginger ale. Food+puke = way more messy and painful.

    But that’s beside the point. FEEL BETTER FAST!
