A coworker and I agreed that today we would go in to work at 9 am for a few hours even though we’re not being paid to go to work until next Tuesday because we are just that dedicated. It’s 8:44 and I haven’t showered yet. I have a feeling I might be a little late. Plus… blah for going to work. I hate work. I do. (I don’t really, but I don’t want summer to end).
Edited to add: I just spoke to my friend and she told me that she had completely forgotten that it was today, and that she would be late, too. So now I don’t feel so bad.
That’s the thing, as long as I’m self-employed, I never actually have to “go back to work.” In fact, I just ended a five-day weekend yesterday. :-p But also, Labour Day is coming up so you still have some more days off… enjoy!
