Does anyone know where you go/how long it takes to get a passport? I know I could look this up, but I’m lazy.
I ask because DJ just reminded me that come January, you’d need a passport to travel between Canada and the US. I don’t have any trips planned at the moment, but I figure maybe a passport would be a handy thing to have. You know. For my life as an International Lady of Mystery.

there’s a fairly wait these days because you need a passport to fly into the states now, so everyone is getting them.
i read somewhere that it’s about a 10 week wait.
but that was a long time ago, so it might be down now.
you can probably get it in a month or so now.
It takes a while for us too.
When I got mine last year, I got it in about 5 weeks. But that’s because I paid extra to expedite it.
Plus I’m an American.
I’m pretty sure Canadian passports are processed by beavers, so you might have to wait longer.
