Now I’m home.
We were at a really beautiful place. I took some photos (none worthy of custom picture framing, but they will show you how beautiful the place was). It would be gorgeous during the summer… of course at prices like $189/night I will never be staying there during peak season. Instead of sharing with a bunch of people, there was only me and one other teacher in the room, because a few people decided to not stay the night. We had fun – then again, put an entire bottle of wine into me and I can have fun anywhere. There was Trivial Pursuit 80s Edition and Wii Bowling on Thursday night. I was actually in bed by 1 am, asleep by 1:30. What’s that? I’m a party animal? Not quite. One of my friends didn’t make it to her room ’til nearly 5a so I did good. Woke up every 10 minutes (it seemed like) because of missing Robbito, but yeah, I slept.
Friday was great, and I’m actually not being facetious. We did a lot of really good work and laughed alot. I have to say that I love, LOVE my new workplace and I hope I get to stay for a long time.
Okay I may put up a couple of those photos up later – first we must go and do a little grocery shop. Otherwise we will be eating ranch dressing and cheerios for every meal this week.
