The barking did eventually stop and we had a great Sunday of grocery shopping and watching Fantasy Island (okay, I’m the only one around here who watches Fantasy Island).
Until about 11 pm, when the barking recommenced.
Yeah, this is gonna be fun.
I promise this isn’t gonna become “oh our neighbours suck and their dog sucks” blog. I promise. And if they continue to leave their tiny dog tied outside for hours at a time I will do or say something because it’s not fair to the dog. But at the moment? I’m tired and grumpy and need to vent, dangit!
I don’t blame you at all… the occasional bark, fine, but constant barking just drives me up a wall… especially if it ruined my one day to sleep in. My old neighbor used to have someone come pick them up every Sunday morning at 7:00 sharp – instead of being ready and out there the person in the car would have to honk and honk and… well, you get the picture.
Fantasy Island?! I loved that show. We’d watch Love Boat and then Fantasy Island every week when I was a kid (even if it did scare me sometimes).
Since it’s getting colder outside, one hopes they won’t be leaving their dog out for long periods, because then the issue escalates from annoyance to cruelty.
