Today has been very interesting, for a Monday. Here’s the run-down:
Woke up at 7. Showered. Got dressed. Ate breakfast.
7:45: left the house. Got about halfway (5 min) to work. Felt not-so-great.
7:50: Stopped at the Tim Horton’s on the way. Threw up in their very convenient bathroom.
7:55: Still throwing up.
8:00: Yeah.
8:05: Left very clean Tim’s bathroom behind. Started back on the road to work.
8:07: Stopped to barf on the side of the road.
8:10: Arrived at work. Walked to my classroom. Stopped short. Detour to washroom. Yadda.
I made it to the office, told them I wasn’t doing so well, and went back up to my classroom to write down a lesson plan. My sub got there just as Homeroom started. Hopefully it all went well– I didn’t hear from him so the assumption is yes.
When I got home, I explained what was going on, showered, and proceeded to pass out for the next seven hours, aside from bathroom breaks. I’m still feeling pretty gross so the plan is for me to go in to the school sometime tonight, check what got done today, get my stuff ready, and call for a sub for tomorrow, too.
