The Internet is finally back at fullspeed here at our house… and of course I’m 100% writers’ blocked.
But do you think that will stop me? HA! NO! A little point-form for ya.
– Ms. Crafty Girl has turned me on to swap-bot… and now I have to force myself not to sign up for every dang swap there is. Because while receiving mail is awesome and one of my favourite things ever, I can’t justify spending thousands of dollars to send mail to others (plus we all know how I am retarded at actually making my way to the post office) (and I WOULD spend thousands of dollars on others, if I could, because I love giving people stuff!) (okay enough parentheses!).
- Rob has SARS. Or a cold. Something like that. At this very moment he is lying upstairs and I am sending him little messages on the computer (yeah, too lazy to go all the way up there unless completely necessary) making sure he’s still alive. So far so good.
- Over the past two days I have watched every episode of this past season of Dr. Who. I don’t like the new companion, but what can you do… and oooh, I get all tingly when the Doctor gets angry and wrathful. No reason, really. But yes. It’s a great show, you should watch it (starting at the very least when Chris Eccleston was the Doctor, you don’t have to go back 40-odd years, just three).
- My eardrum is still all jacked up even though I took my meds like I was supposed to. Have you ever seen a jacked up eardrum? Better yet, have you ever tried to live with one? I’m dizzy all the time and it’s NOT FUN!
- There is a skunk outside our house right now and it s-t-i-n-k-s. It didn’t spray anything, it’s just going around smelling up the place. Skunks don’t generally bathe that much, you know.
- This coming saturday we are having an end-of-summer barbecue with over 20 guests. I’m a little nervous. Here’s hoping it doesn’t rain. If it does rain, we will have 20+ people inside our tiny house. Maybe we can play Charades!
- My parents are leaving their cat with us when they go off on vacation the first week of September. I’m a little nervous of that, too.
- I just realized that this post sucks the old bone! So I’m stopping now!
I’m so glad you’re back up and running again. It drives me to the point of distraction when my DSL is down. I don’t know what to do with myself and I think of a million and one things to blog about… but then forget them all when I’m connected again.
I’d fly over for your BBQ if I could, and make it 21 people. Hope it doesn’t rain.
