Oh the humanity!
I have the worst earache in the history of mankind. Okay, that’s not exactly true, but I’m grumpy this morning. When I was a kid I had ear problems all the time (ear infections and stuff) and they caused me some hearing loss but aside from that I haven’t had any ear problems since I was about 14 and I had this big complicated operation which I won’t explain here. Then, a few days ago, my left ear started feeling funny, and now it’s just really, really sore. Yet another reason to be seeing my doctor as soon as I can get in (unfortunately with the doc shortage around here I might be over it by the time I get in to see her).
Rob is working from 3 pm – 1 am this week. Seeing as I leave for work at 7 am and get home at 4 or 5 pm, we’re not seeing much of each other. I pick him up after work (I sleep on the couch, he phones at 12:45, I wander out to the car in my pyjamas and somehow make it to his work), so we must talk then although I’m not sure if anything I say is coherent, and when I get up in the morning I wake him up for a few kisses and snuggles before I start my day, but I miss my husband. It sounds sappy, I know, but it’s hard not seeing him all the time! Luckily he only gets this shift maybe once every two months or so; the rest of the time he works more reasonable hours, with him getting off work at 7pm at the latest.
Oh! Also! Later today (tonight) I will be taking and posting a few pics. Just to remind me to actually do that, I am writing it here.

We have the same problem, only opposite. Lately my, already exceptional, hearing has been TOO good which has led to earaches – especially when I’m in a car with a friend who talks too loud.
