STORM DAY!

STORM DAY!

YES!

(of course it would have been nicer had I not been halfway to school before they announced it, but whatever. I’m UP, and it’s a WHOLE DAY OFF! KIND OF! BECAUSE I STILL HAVE TO DO WORK!)

TAKE YOUR MEDICINE PEOPLE.

TAKE YOUR MEDICINE PEOPLE.

I am a goof and for some reason was convinced I’d left my meds at school on Friday, so I ended up not taking them all weekend. When I got to school, they weren’t there and I recalled leaving them in my purse (which was in the trunk of the car, which was at home because today wasn’t my day to drive). So that made three days without my meds, and oh, did I feel like crap today– nauseous, dizzy (head-spinny dizzy and also no-concentration dizzy) and basically like I might DIE at any moment.
I got home and Rob had to help me get upstairs to lie down (yes I managed to down my pills, no worries) because I was like, ready to fall, basically. It’s kind of scary, when you think about it. Apparently one of the medications I’m taking has about the worst withdrawal symptoms and I guess I found that out today. Yikes.

It’s supposed to storm tomorrow– of course I’ll believe it when I see it. I will bet anyone a full shiny (Canadian) quarter that I end up at school tomorrow. I JUST BET YOU!
But I wouldn’t mind y’all keeping your fingers crossed that we get a storm day… I’d love to sleep in ;)
Barring that, though, hey whatever. MARCH BREAK IS ON ITS WAY!

"Cut that out! Give me a sensible love kiss~!"

"Cut that out! Give me a sensible love kiss~!"

Rob, apparently, is sick of me trying to kiss him in bizarre ways, such as getting all the way up to his mouth and then opening my mouth all wide like some kind of bass or something, engulfing his poor little puckered-up lips and almost his nose.
FINE THEN!!! That dude has got no mercy.
I love him though. Reasons I love him:
1- He actually puts up with my non-sensible joke kisses
2- Although he has a huge sinus headache, he is making our supper, because I have a backache (yay Robaxacet! Yay drunk on robaxacet posting! )
3- He still plays along when I do my Orange Joke ™ *
4- Happy snuggles! In the kitchen! And the livingroom!
5- He hung out with my mom for like, an hour and a half today.
6- He loves his parents very much. His mom’s dog died this week and he’s been phoning her everyday to make sure she’s okay. Which she is.
7- He emails me everyday at school to tell me that I am a very cute lemur face. Which is a good thing, by the way. Lemurs are, apparently, good things.
8- He gets really excited about Battlestar Galactica and tells me many things about it. I love that.
9- Today he went outside in the cold and measured our windows for windowboxes. Sweet!
10- He honestly doesn’t mind when I sing songs about armadillo(e?)s.

Anyway to those of you who still actually read this, uhm… sorry I suck at posting lately. It’s only one week til March Break so maybe there’ll be more posting then. And when April ends, and I’m done with the second job, I’ll also have more time on my hands. So, you know.
Also? I just found a bunch of my students’ blogs. At Xanga. It’s… interesting. Actually it’s just a webring of xanga sites by students from my school. I only actually saw one blog there that belonged to a kid that I teach. And I didn’t read it. Because that’s how I roll, man. I’m not sure of the etiquette of all that and honestly I don’t really want to know what they think about me, if they do at all. Well, I kind of do, but I’d rather hear it from them than sneakily read their website, y’know?

To my shame…

To my shame…

… I’m no longer perfect.
After 9 years of successful ebaying, I have just received my very first negative feedback (I don’t count the neutral one I got from this weird guy who expected what he won to be at his house fourteen seconds after he paid for it) . It was my fault, because when I first sent the item, I sent it to the wrong address, and it ended up coming back here, so I sent it again but by then they had already filed with paypal to get their money back. I did email them quite a few times, letting them know what was going on, but they all bounced back to me so whatever.
So the person is getting their money back, AND their item, and I am down one in the feedback department. Ah well. Hopefully I go another nine years without this kind of mistake.

Oh and? I have one of those horrible subterranean zits coming in on my chin. It HURTS. Weird, too, since usually it’s caffeine that gets me all pimply and I’ve given up caffeine for Lent ( I’m constantly tired anyway, so giving up the caffeine is such a great idea!). I’m now going through at least 4L of water a day (the bathrooms at work get quite a few visits from me, let me tell you).
Happy Sunday, all y’all.
