We *did* end up having yesterday ‘off’, although I spent my day working anyway. It was just nice to sleep in ’til 7:45 instead of getting up at 5:30, though.
Today is going to be a long day — I will be leaving for work at 7, I’ll get home at around 4:30 or 5, and head off for my other job at 5:30; I’ll get home from that at 8:30. Needless to say Valentine’s Day is not going to involve long luxurious dinners by the fire (uhm, there’s no fireplace here so that’s a good thing, actually).
And? Happy birthday to my mom and to my friend Tara!
