It looks like religion is going to be playing a part in the governance of our country, if our new Prime Minister has anything to do with things.
During his acceptance speech last night, Stephen Harper said, “God bless Canada”. To which many Canadians responded, “Oh, Jesus Christ.”
Is that a bad thing?
Was thinking about returning to Canada. Maybe I’ll give another 4 years or so (or keep my ears open for votes of no confidence).
It won’t take four years. I think maybe a year and a half and we’ll be having another election and Frank McKenna or Michael Ignatieff will be the new Prime Minister.
