If you look to the right, you will see that my flickr photos have finally changed. If you want to check them out, they’re some pics of our as-yet empty house. Just the downstairs, because I didn’t make it upstairs with the camera before Rob said “Let’s go I’m hungry!” and I was hungry too.
We’re not completely moved in, yet. Today we had an appointment with the housing lady to pick up our keys and do a walk-through to make sure all was well with the house. After she left, I snapped a few pics. Then we went for our lunch, went out and returned some pop bottles (Look, when you consume as much pop as we do, it’s worth it to get back the 40 cents/bottle!– today’s bottles came out to nearly $30), and then came back to my parents’, where we called and arranged for Internet hookup (sorry to say that it won’t be hooked up until next Wednesday so uhm… yeah. I won’t be around for a few days) and I napped, because I barely slept last night. Then we shanghai’d my father’s truck and brought a load of boxes over, did a quick run to the grocery store, and here we are back again. Hopefully we’ll get all the boxes finished with tonight; tomorrow we’ll move in all the furniture.
Lucky for us most of our stuff was never unpacked when we moved to my parents’ house– we only have to pack up what’s in our room, which really isn’t much.
Also? TOMORROW NIGHT WE SLEEP IN OUR OWN HOUUUUUUSE!

Congratulations! Best way to start a new year (and a new life together) is to be at least far enough away from everyone else that they must call or drive, not simply yell down the stairs.
