My mother’s surgery went well (in fact, she was sent home yesterday, she’s at this very moment sitting on the big chair in the livingroom like the Queen of the House ordering me to get upstairs and make lunch). As soon as she got out, we got a call from my grandma in Cape Breton saying that my aunt (my dad’s little sister) had been rushed to have emergency surgery. She’s fine too, now– it was some kind of intestinal blockage that they fixed up. And of course, as these things always come in threes, last night my sister went in to the ER thinking she was dying but it turns out she just had a UTI or something.
So that is that.

I feel like my blog is becoming completely boring– I swear it’s not that PEI is boring it’s just that living at my parents’ is. I love them, but they’re not exactly Party People, y’know?
