Okay so first of all, I am too obsessed with money. It’s a snow day today, and there’s no way for me to drive Rob in to work. Plus the busses aren’t running. So he’s not going to work, right? And that’s normal. And it’s fine.
But now I start worrying because if he doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid. WHICH IS ALSO FINE. But I worry anyway. And then I act like a dink. Meh.
Also. ALSO! Do you want to know what a prize I am? Boys probably shouldn’t click, because it’s just gonna gross you out.
Girls too, maybe. Use your judgment.
1) I have my period.
2) I have a huge cold sore that is taking up most of my upper lip, and wraps around to the INSIDE of my mouth. Very painful.
Poor me, but more importantly?
Poor Rob.
I too know the WOE of the cold sore (bastard thing) and it’s THAT time of year (bastard winter though YAY snow day) however for a week now Matt’s been asking “Can I kiss you yet?” AND I HAVE TO SAY NO! Which sucks because I want to be kissed I liked to be kissed but I don’t WANT to give Matt the WOE that is cold sores.
That sucks muchly…. the cold sore thing, that is. I loooove kissing and to not kiss for that long… well, I think I’d have to ~*pout*~.
As for the worrying thing, I’m thinking that perhaps this could be a test of what Rob was saying the other day. Take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Can I change this situation?” (Nope.) Mother Nature dumped on you but good and trapped y’all together….I say enjoy the heck outta having your man all to yourself when you otherwise might have been all alone tonight!!
wow, i hope your sore goes away soon, is there anything you can try or put on to releve it? i am sorry you are not feeling so well, but you what? i don’t think anyone would feel well if in your position…just ride it out louise with some cold compresses…
yeoowch! that sounds hellish.
i too get cold sores from hell, and i have found that the miracle cure is ice. ice the sucker as soon as you start feeling it. then keep icing it for the first could of days a couple (or more) times a day. i have never had *anything* work as well as this. i just discovered it (on the interweb of course) two years ago and i swear to you, it has changed my life (as it relates to cold sores)
oh yeah, and the icing thing still helps even if you’ve had it for a couple days and haven’t had a chance to ice it, it’s just better if you catch it right away.
and as for how long to ice it, i put an ice cube in a paper towel and ice until the cube is melted.
I agre 100% with mainja. But icing a cold sore on my lip, i.e. the outside, has a tendency – with me – to cause it to spread more on the inside of my mouth.
Why “poor Rob”? Your wrist isn’t broken is it?
