I am really glad that Rob has this new job selling salami. I really am. He is really enjoying the training so far, too, I think. I can’t speak for him but he just seems much happier and has come home each night with stories about his coworkers, the different things he’ll be doing when he’s selling all the salami, etc. etc. etc.
It is so very great that he is finally feeling comfortable with being here.

My friend
A friend of mine isn’t doing very well right now.
If you pray, or even if you don’t, please send some positive thoughts her way. She’s a wonderful woman and doesn’t deserve the pain she’s going through right now.
Feeling hurt.
I wrote this earlier today and emailed it to myself so that I could put it up here once I got home. It’s long, and not all that funny or entertaining, but hey, here we go. Whee!
Blankety blank blank
Thanks to the delivery I got today from Christina we are like, one square away from having our first blanket finished.
wee! weeeee!
I’ve been debating whether or not to blog this for hours now thinking I might jinx things if I write too much, and whatever whatever. So I’m going to post about it, and you all can just be like “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE” or not. Then if it turns out I jinxed things, well, I did, and you all can be like “Louise, you dumbass!”
It seems that Rob has found Gainful Employment.
He applied to a bunch of things last week, and was called yesterday for an interview at Subway. Today, he was called for an interview somewhere else. He chose to reschedule the Subway interview for Thursday. Went to the other place. Did all the aptitude tests and stuff. He qualified for the highest tier, starting-salary wise. BECAUSE HE IS A SMARTY BEAN!
I am so proud of him!
Tomorrow he starts training.

Oh my, I'm naked. Everyone can see my penis!
New movie! New movie! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
NEW GAME TOO!!!
Oh yeah, I will be playing this for the rest of my life.
Doctor, Doctor, give me the news…
I wasn’t sick all summer, not including some stomach problems brought on from eating meat, which I know I’m allergic to so I shouldn’t eat it but once in awhile I feel that I must.
Begin the school year, where I’m exposed to 30 snotty noses (okay, maybe not quite) on a daily basis. I have the Summer Cold (Even though it’s Autumn) from HELL. Started Friday, is firmly attached to my lungs AND sinuses. Lovely.
Just now I coughed and coughed and one of my lungs flew out of my body and landed on my desk.
I swear it’s true.
Snackinfrackin germy kids.
Joggin' for Jugs
Yesterday I got a call asking me to come in for more boob-testing, including a mammogram. I know it will all probably turn out to be nothing, but I’m still afeared. So it’s only fitting that I got an email this morning from my friend Erika, who will be participating in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, on Sunday, October 3, 2004.
Now I know that I don’t need to go on and on about how breast cancer research is very important and how we’re closer than ever to a cure and how your donation no matter how small makes a huge difference– you know all this. So, if you possibly can, would you please go to Erika’s donation page and show her a little love? My bazongas would appreciate it.
HOLY MOFO’IN CRIPES!!!!
It took almost two hours to get home today. First of all, we had a two-hour staff meeting, which was just… not fun. ‘Make sure when you fill out this form, use BLUE ink…’ meh. Then, on the way home, went to cross the McKay bridge, and found out that there was (depending on which radio station you were listening to) a 7, 8, or 9 car pileup on that bridge (I really hope those people are okay). It took about an hour to approach the bridge, only to be turned around and sent to the other one, which of course was super-super-de-duper busy. When we finally got home we had to go out again and get change for laundry and by the time I’d had the chance to sit down, it had been more than 13 hours since I’d left the house this morning
I’m a bit grumpy.
BUT– there’s something I need y’all to be wishing the ultimate luck to us for, tomorrow at 3:30 Atlantic Time. But I’ll tell you what that is tomorrow.
Also I’m very sleepy and Rob probably needs some snuggling.
8 MINUTES!!!
I have 8 MINUTES TO BLOG!!!
I’m just really frustrated in knowing that a member of the administration here STOLE SOMETHING FROM ME and is now like “Well it wouldn’t be useful to you anyway”– which isn’t true.
I kind of feel weird blogging about it though because I don’t want to get fired… hmph.
HMPH.
There, that took 1 minute. I HAVE SEVEN MINUTES LEFT!
I THINK I’LL PEE!
