Ooh! Yay!

September 30, 2004 by Louise

Cow-dog is back! I can access it from home! It’s aliiiiiiiiiive!

Of course someone deleted the template (it was neither Rob nor I, since he’s at work and I don’t even know what’s involved with deleting a template…) but that will be fixed soon.

Yay, I can post at my own blog again! Not that I didn’t enjoy posting over at Mac’s. Because I did. She is very, very cool.

Anyway. I’m tired. I’m still having this amazing feeling of dread for some reason– that something’s going to happen and the rest of my year will be hellish… but you know what? I have to suck it up and just get over myself. The health stuff? Whatever.
WHATEVER.

I’m thinking of doing the photo meme that everyone I read is doing– anyone? Anyone?

Also, Terry– Send me your address again (and if you have it, the track listing– nice and organized, aren’t I?) and this time I will put 95 stamps on the envelope and like… KISS the postal workers before they take the letter off to you. It’s pissing me off that I’ve sent you that CD twice and both times it hasn’t gotten to you, and you are one of the only people who actually sent me a CD to begin with.

Oh.. speaking of postal workers…

Remember when I talked about my friend who sent me a sewing machine and all the crap that happened because of that?
We ended up asking the post office to send it to Customs and have them re-evaluate it. What happens is that they re-evaluate it, DO NOT SEND IT BACK TO THE SENDER, and then call and let me know what the result is. Whether they’ve decided to not have me pay $105, or whether they’ve decided that I need to pay $105. And based on Customs’ decision, I decide whether or not I actually want the package, and tell them yes, send it to me, or no, send it back.

At least that’s what is supposed to happen.

Got an email yesterday from my friend.

Guess what I got in the mail today?
The sewing machine.
*sigh*

Which means that the people at our post office DIDN’T send it back to customs as they had been asked to do– they just plain sent it back to our friend.

Fuckers.

I miss Wonder Woman.
*sigh*

(Louise is a sissypants crymonkey and only speaks of negative things anymore on her blog.)

    Fuckers.

What is this photo meme of which you speak? I like taking photos.

I no longer have the tracklist… I thought the odds of the CD going AWOL twice were unlikely. . so I erased the file in a cleanup. :-/ Seriously, it’s got to the point where I hesitate to have you try to send it out a third time!

Hey, Louise, I have a proposition for you. Much as I would enjoy a CD, might I ask you something else instead? Do you or Rob know how I might compile my unweildy, insanely long list of archives on my blog into a single link called “Archives”? I hate the appearance of all those links going back to June 2002 or whenever. Like anyone’s going to go through them all. If you could do that for me (I will give you username, password info) I would be really thrilled. Really. Really. Thrilled. Answer here or email me, whichever… oh, and if you can’t do it, that’s fine, too — just let me know. Merci! and Mwah!

Which photo meme? I’m apparently not reading the right people. The only photos I’ve seen discussed lately are the boobies for Boobie-Thon 2004. Not that there’s anything wrong with boobies, you understand – I just don’t get involved in those ;)

Hell, I’d just be glad they’re not shooting you for trying to send something through customs and making more work for ‘em. They ARE postal workers, after all.

And who cares if you’re only talking about negative things? It’s YOUR blog, talk about whatever the hell you like… =) Not that that’s to say I think you’re a sissypants crymonkey. [PS I love that phrase, and I will be stealing it].
